The AI Semiconductor Convergence major explores ground-breaking technological advancements made through the convergence of semiconductors, AI, and big data and aims to cultivate workers who know how to develop AI-based semiconductors. Students study cutting-edge technologies (e.g. AI, big data, semiconductor design, semiconductor process control). After graduation, they are hired by IT firms related to semiconductors or the convergence of AI and big data. Students are cultivated into AI-semiconductor convergence experts who, based on their computer and software skills, can work efficiently at industrial sites that require AI/big data processing. The major was created recently in response to industry demand for the convergence of AI and semiconductors in the 21st century.
