Applicants must meet all of the conditions below
- Neither parent has Korean nationality (if one of the parents is Korean nationality, application is not possible).
- Both applicants and their parents acquired foreign citizenship before the applicant entered high school.
- Applicants must submit documents proving the nationality of the applicant and parents and documents proving the relationship between the applicant and parents.
- In case of divorce or death of parents, the relevant documents must be submitted.
- Applicants have graduated or are expected to graduate from high school in Korea or abroad.
- Applicants must meet at least one of the following foreign language requirements
- Obtain Level 3 or higher on the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK)
- Recognized as having Korean abilities equivalent to TOPIK level 3 or higher in institutional Korean language proficiency tests conducted by the International Cooperation Center of Hankyong National University
- have taken at least 2 semesters of the Korean language education program provided by the Hankyong National University International Cooperation Center and have completed the level 3 or higher
- Graduates must satisfy all of the following Korean and English proficiency requirements prior to graduation.
- Korean language proficiency: TOPIK level 4
- one of the following English proficiency test scores: TOEIC 700 points or higher, TOEFL CBT 197 points or higher, TOEFL iBT 71 points or higher, or IELTS 5.5 points or higher
Applicants who correspond to the conditions below cannot apply:
- Multinationals including Korean nationality
- Applicants who contend that they have completed high school education through home education, cyber education, or a high school education recognition test in applicants' country
